About me
I previously undertook a digital marketing apprenticeship, during whichI worked as a digital marketing assistant in a busy growth agency. I covered all areas to provide our clients with a fully comprehensive online platform for their business. I was lucky to get experience in a vast range of areas including email marketing, social media managing, copy writing, graphic and ad design, blog writing, analytics, SEO, web design, PPC, and product photography.My clients included lawyers, hairdressers, bailiffs, construction companies, manufacturers, prenatal technology specialists, and more. I am certain that this experience in creating compelling and web-friendly content will prove very useful in providing engaging and purposeful writing.
The most part of my previous work involved the creation of blogs, both informative and promotional, for clients based on the trending search queries in their area of business. Since I have a highly adaptive writing style, I covered topics from Legionella surveying to divorce settlements, hairstyling trend predictions, and everything in between. This is why I know first-hand the importance of consistency and aligning tone of voice with brand guidelines. I am proud of my written communication skills, which stems both from my personal enjoyment of creative writing, and from my degree in classical studies. During this degree, I consistently received the highest grades for my writing, and was lucky enough to have my essay published in an academic journal.
I thoroughly enjoy the challenge of researching a new topic and digging in to what there is to tell the world about each area, whether that’s glass construction, medical hygiene, or the best hairstyles for mature hair.Communication is what I excel at, and I fully understand the necessity to alter tone of voice and writing style for each topic and audience. This is why I always go the extra mile to ensure every little detail is in place for my articles.This is what makes all the difference for an engaging piece of writing.
As well as my experience in digital communication, I have also spent time as a freelance artist and graphic designer, in which I made some great connections and relationships with my commissioners. I feel that my skill and experience in a range of artistic content and technique enables me to think creatively and holistically, helping to envision solutions and new concepts with concise visual communication and aesthetic flair.
